Just a clock?
When I hear Howard called the "Mecca" or "Hilltop", I automatically think about the clock tower. The clock tower is one of the main historic attractions at Howard University that can not be missed when walking across the yard. The clock tower is the home to Founder’s Library one of the nine keys buildings on the hilltop built by architect Albert I. Cassell. The library is also the home of the university’s museum, which is dedicated to the history and culture of African descents.
